From drumhack

I would take whichever snare and cymbals are the loudest and has the best chance of shattering the windows in the joint! D' DrummerD' DrummerD' DrummerCool1LoLoLoLo

Hahaha, love the humor! I'm certain that drummers have more fun than guitar and bass players.

On a different note, no piccolos allowed. Nothing under 5" depth allowed!!!

Good choice on the piccolo snares!!!

Of course we drummers have more fun than the other members of the band. We also have stuff to hide behind if the going gets tough!!!

Final choices...

60s 5x14 Acrolite and 6.5x14 Black Beauty.

60s A Zildjian set for the first half, and K Zildjian set for 2nd half of gig. Best of both worlds!

All...the gig went really well last Friday! Ended up using the old Acrolite snare and my 60s Zildjian As for the whole gig! It all sounded great. The bass player loved the sound of my 60s Ludwig kit. Next time, I'll mix it up a little bit with the gear...I like doing that.
