I've had some luck recently by just buying stuff, sneak it in the back door and upstairs into my drum "Junk Yard" (my wifes own words). If and when she may wander up there she probably won't notice it. If she does and questions it I just tell her I've had it a long time and she just doesn't remember. I don't know how much longer I can get away with that though. :)

Not to brag but I have brought in whole sets of drums in finishes in no way similar to the other drums I have. And she simply does not notice.
But I'm still trying to figure out how I can get a set of vistalites in under the radar...
