Had a great time recording today. It went OK, made several mistakes but we knew that would happen. Anyway, fun day and I got a lot of compliments on my zebra wood Ludwigs.

Jeff i knew you would have a blast doing this and mistakes are normal even for the most top notch proficient drummers. What an experience this must have been for you and the band.No doubt you had alot of compliments on those beautiful Ludwig zebra stripe drums and i`ll add to those compliments-that is one killer looking kit that must have sounded awsome in that studio. Also looks like a super studio with all the latest technology. Congrats on your session Jeff and once it`s mixed you`re gonna` love it.Now you`ve got one under your belt and hope you`ll do more!

Jeff - Ha! I knew you'd have a blast. The drums look so cool all mic'd up for recording. And don't worry about any mistakes, the engineers can punch in and out and fix things right down to individual notes. I think you're going to be surprised at what you get back from the guys who will do all the post production. You guys won't recognize yourselves!
Cool, you broke the ice! Now you have recorded and you know what it's like. Great experience.

Those Zebrawood Luddies are just too cool! And the best mistakes are sometimes keepers in the studio. Glad you enjoyed yourself!

Jeff looks like a great time! Glad you all had fun. The Luddys look great! Look forward to hearing the finished product.
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Gotdam! I just noticed the board! That sucker is from the paleolithic era, strictly high-class old-school recording equipment. That's the kind of board they used during the 70's! I haven't seen anything like that in decades. I'll bet you guys are going to get a MONSTER analog sound out of that thing. That board looks to have it all. You did real good recording there, I'll bet it's the only studio in the entire north central part of the country with a board like that one. New York, LA and Nashville would be the only other places to have recording studios with old-school analog recording equipment from the 70's. You lucky dog. That recording is going to sound great. I'm sure they're going to put it all through their digital filters and toys, but those raw tracks must sound out of this world.
John
Hey thanks guys! I got to listen to the five tracks today and I must say we did pretty good. Best part was I switched out snare drums for the last two songs, I used the down beat that my daughter got me for Christmas a couple years ago, see pic below. If there was a way to post one of the recordings then I would but I dont think there is.
Thank you!

Hey jeff, if you can download the tracks to your computer then you can put them on youtube then post the youtube link. That might work.
Congrats on a successful recording session. Sounds like ya had a great time. Love the zebra stripes.
