The old sellers dilemma Last viewed: 2 hours ago

I don't need the cash for a month. That's the only way I'd consider this. Also the item is a snare in a particular colour and this buyer has a kit to match. I like to see this kind of reunion happen. The person who sold it to me gave me a decent deal so I'm trying to pay that forward. It's just annoying, since generally the market is down and then this one drum - I could have gotten more for it and the snare I'm buying is considerably more.

I have been in contact with the prospective buyer and told him it has to happen within a month. At least I have the second offer to fall back on. Thanks guys.

ask for 25% down...30 days to pay IN FULL..

If does not pay in full...he forfeits his 25%.......

I have offered that to sellers and buyers...works out well.....

My honest opinion....if you made a verbal agreement with buyer #1... there should not be a buyer #2 until/unless buyer#1 completely falls out. I think it is completely wrong and dishonest to make an agreement with someone then sell out from under that person just for a few more dollars. Just my thoughts. Good luck whichever way you go.
