agreed. mine are the 60's pre serial numbered ones but I thought Paiste did a top notch job on the re production series, they sound just like the originals. They also feel great.

Very cool, it really is a great size. That's the drum that goes up first at all gigs, and rarely leaves the stand. ;-)

The ubiquitous 6.5x14 Black Beauty is still the first call snare drum by far, but every drummer I have introduced to the Blaemire has really, really been impressed by it. It does my heart good to see that kind of response.
