There’s a reason the Monkees’ Micky Dolenz plays drums that way: ‘I know it’s bizarre Last viewed: 1 minute ago

It`s whatever set up works for each and every one of us,lower hi-hat position to snare, left lead (hand set-ups),right lead (hand set-ups),left lead bass/right lead bass etc, etc. This happens from the early brain stages and stays with our " individual independence" for life...however there are some changes that occasionally happen along the way which is natural when we`re still experimenting with independence.God forbid if that ever ceases to exist as that`s what we drummers are all about!

longjohn, that is Tymeless as "The Hands of Tyme" were... and the spelling was correct and a spoof on the word "Time".We had to be different in those days and is this pic one of your old bands? If so...very cool and a parody of yours and mine.I originally spelled it "Thyme"in this thread which was wrong, but herbs are a good thing too.

Best,

Wayne
