I don't do this often, but i thought i'd start a different thread that could be fun..This is the "find your vintage kit" thread, and this is how it works.. Try to find your prized possession vintage kit (or snare) in the actual catalog that it was originally featured in when it came out, and post it up here..Limit is 1 kit and/or snare drum, or both together..

Here is the link to my beauty, a vintage early 80's YAMAHA 8000 Tour series kit in natural wood finish from the vintage drum guide Yamaha catalog. Mine is the 5 piece on the bottom left catalog page, minus snare drum.

Hope you guys enjoy the thread !

cheers,

Rob

How's this?

[Attachment: 104944] [Attachment: 104945]

I don't think there was ever a catalog pic for my 10-piece Fullerton set in the background (custom ordered in 1974).

This is a fun thread. Hope it keeps going.

Okay ... so I gotta play! 1967 Rogers catalog showing the Buddy Rich Celebrity model, but Rogers never cataloged/offered it with the 2nd 16X16 of course, but they should have! Trixon/VOX was the 1st to do that in 1967, followed by Slingerland in 1968! Anyway, Rogers catalog pic ... and then my 1965 Rogers Buddy Rich Celebrity's!

Here is another bought from catalog but I use for a Rush tribute band in slightly different config. Added a second floor and also not shown is the 15" that I use on my left as hanging floor for another setup that I use once in a while.

I'm in!!

Here are 2 of my kits, with the corresponding catalog pictures! I sold the Cusatis 4N kit some years ago. Should have kept it!
