I couldn't find the 1966 catalogue pic, but here's the '67 along with my '66 Downbeat. The wrap doesn't match, but it does show a supra like mine (sorry about pic quality!).

Wow, great idea for a thread! Amazing how some of the kits are exactly like the catalog pictures, good job of setting them up to match. I cant find my kits with correct wrap so I cant play but Im having a good time seeing the others.

Thanks Jeff ! I'm glad that everyone's enjoying the thread. I check the thread everyday for more cool kits !

human71!Indeed ... was a great idea for a thread! That said, David and I tend to stay in the background here, as from the start, we conceived of the VDF as FOR THE MEMBERS, thus ... we tend to NOT get involved in the posts/threads, unless intervention is required of course! That hasn't been the case in quite some time though, which is great! This one was unique, so figured I'd add to it with my Rogers BR Celebrity's! Tommyp

Thanks Tommyp ! That means a lot coming from you.. Love this forum, and all members are great guys.. Thanks again for setting up this site when you did, as it's helped educate me with all things vintage drums.

Cheers !

Very enjoyable thread. Great to see so many catalog kits. Here's my first offering from the Rogers 67-68 catalog - Rogers Citadel. I should try to get a catalog-type shot of it from the back someday. Kudos to you guys that have done that. Very authentic! I did eventually manage to find the round L rod for the cowbell arrangement, so next picture session will include that. Right now it has a splash mounted to the tom arm. I have a pedal and cymbal stand too, but waiting for a hat and snare stand to match the catalog.

This would be the second catalog kit, although I don't have the hardware. Ludwig S-300 Standards in blue strata. Maybe Manny (airborneSFC) will check in with his kit that is complete. Bowing

Little plug too - its for sale!
