Merry Christmas to everyone, my wonderful wife puts a cartoon next to my coffee mug each morning. Here is todays.
Have a good day!

That is very thoughtfull of her and it is oh so true..... :)
HA! That is so true... tell your wife that she hit the nail on the head with that one! Thanks for sharing! :)
That reminds me of when I was a kid (but I didn't get my first kit for Christmas, I had to work for mine!). My dad couldn't handle the "noise." So I could only practice when he wasn't home. Even though we lived on a farm, we did have a neighboring farm house across the road... and they said they always knew when my dad wasn't home... :)
Christmas was great for me... my grown kids got me the Ludwig, Slingerland, and Rogers Rob Cook books! More useful info than I imagined!
Jeff -- did that ROP patch show up?

No, have not seen the wrap yet. I do have the Presidents all polished and set up, I will post pictures very soon. When I got my first drum set my dad built a "drum room" in the basement using walls from a walk in cooler. They had aluminumn skin with a foam core about 6" thick. He covered the inside of the room with carpet pad. It worked pretty darn good. My dad, the other Red Green.
I will keep my eyes open for the wrap, and thank you once again for sending it, I wont forget it.

I don't what it would be worth. The kit is long gone.
I do know that it came from Noble & Cooley. The only way I know this is from this picture:

the print of Mickey drum head is hanging from the ceiling above the man with the red sweater.
Dang! I love that cartoon. It's pretty much how it happened in my life. Very Very cool. Thanks.
