Later for all of that gourmet stuff, if you really want to take your life in your hands and grow some hair on your chest... down a dozen White Castle sliders with onion rings and a large Coke! If you like eating 'game-smelling' meat, sliders smell the same way going in, as they do coming out! 'Hunt' some of those down! Car Driving2

BTW, it helps if you're really stoned when you do it! :p

Doobie Munchies John?:p

Yes... all the time! White Castle burgers are iconic among American pot consumers who spent all their money on weed and saved nothing for food later. At $.27 cents a burger, you can feast on a dozen of them, fries, or onion rings and a drink and you're still under $5.00 for the meal! Toker food! For some strange reason, it just doesn't taste 'quite as good' as when you're half-baked and on a 'Soma Holiday!'. :p

Ahh yes, White Castle burgers!

There was a reason we called them "Rectal Rockets".

(Never stopped us from chowing down on a dozen or so. You just had to be prepared for the consequences.)

no disrespect to all you white castle aficionados but part of the beauty of "wild" meat is the absolute absence of industrialized processing, artificial additives, hormones, antibiotics or chemicals.

kind of the antithesis of a white castle burger.

Aww, hell, ANYBODY can eat that and survive. Takes true grit to pull through a White Castle session!

There are no WC aficionados, just WC survivors. A small but dedicated group.

(You DO of course realize I'm not serious. I am in total agreement with you.)

Hollywood - I was born and raised in Manhattan. I'm a 'city kid', about the only thing I ever got to hunt and eat was Beaver! lol

The closest we ever came to eating something 'wild' was when we ate at White Castle! :p

Longjohn - so is the beet root cooked, pickled, or just raw? Could be interesting and worth a try on a burger.

Big Fella,

Pre cooked and sliced beetroot, straight out of a can is what they use, it's preserved in a vinegar solution. So you must say "skip the beetroot" if you order a burger. I love the stuff and often knock myself up a ham and beetroot sandwich.

Cheers
