Everyone advised against the trade and you went through with it anyway. Now regret it? Eh sounds like you had your mind made up beforehand just enjoy what you have which is an excellent kit worry about parting out later

Didn't know you had other drums in the same finish.

Well now you have a "lego" set you can build just about any setup you want.

I would try and post one of the 15" toms for trade on here.

Unless the original owner cut a snare bed into that 10x14 you should be able to convert it back to a tom.

You could run

10/12/13 up And 14/15 down With a 22 bass

Or even get a conversion kit to make that 18" into a bass drum and have a jazzette 12/14/18.

I like Drums...
1963 Ludwig Downbeat Champagne Sparkle
1964 Leedy (Slingerland) Blue n Silver Duco
1964 Ludwig Club Date Sparkling Silver Pearl
1966 Ludwig Super Classic Sparkling Silver Pearl
1968 Gretsch round badge modern jazz orange stain
1972 Slingerland 85N Pop outfit Light Blue Pearl
1976 Ludwig Vistalite clear
1981 Gretsch SSB Gran Prix Rosewood
1987 Yamaha Turbo Tour Custom Mellow Yellow
1991 Pearl Export Ferrari Red

My 2 cents: I think you PROBABLY did a good thing buying these RCs. Of course, it would have been nice if you didn't have to sell the Ludwigs. I assume the RCs were in good condition?? There are lots of Super Classics out there to be had if you change your mind down the road. With Yamaha recently parting ways with Sakae the value of the RCs probably just went up. Good to know that you already had the more "traditional" sizes of RCs already (although I think I would have been happy with just those), but since you wanted to put together a nice big double bass set, then I'd say you did well. This is a vintage forum and naturally most folks on here are going to disagree with you trading a truly vintage set for a more modern one. would be nice to see some pics of each!
