The most beautiful kit I've ever seen was a wmp club date that someone here on VDF purchased a year or so ago from a female older drummer that kept them in cases etc. Can anyone find that old thread or know who that was? I'd love to see that photo again. I searched but gave up. thanks.

very nice guy on the phone, but never once mentioned any holes at all...and didn't want to talk about it when I started asking him. He started out at $1800 and now at half that almost. Here is the ad with the pictures. I asked him why he didn't post any pictures of the holes and his answer to me was..."I'm only allowed so many pictures, and I couldn't take a picture of everything"http://worcester.craigslist.org/msg/4314260333.html
Don't you see, it's a rare "factory-error" kit. The only one out there like it. It's priceless :)
Chris - Gary - I think you are both misreading some of the comments.Chris - Gary wasn't referring to you. He was upset because he thought the seller is not being intentionally deceptive and he feels, that he's being mistreated here. I don't think he meant you in any way. I could be wrong and misreading, all of you, but that's what I got from it.Gary - I'm going to quote from a Batman line: "It's not who you are inside that matters, it's what you do that defines you!" The seller may be the the nicest guy in the world with no bad intentions, but... if he's not showing obvious flaws in the drums to prospective buyers in his photos, or verbally informing them of the flaws, plus making people come out to the house to find out for themselves after making a trip out there, is just self-serving and bad business. Bcarey is trying to give everybody a heads up about it. If it helps even one guy to avoid burning all that gas and having to go home disappointed and angry, then bcarey is doing a good deed by warning us about it. It's no judgement on the sellers character or intentions, just a report on a possible waste of time for anyone interested.Peace in the valley... everybody is right and nobody is wrong. The points that all of you guys made are valid. Just a simple case of crossed wires.John

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
