That should help a little...it did for me anyway. It nearly drove me crazy that the drum sounded so good when I held it by the hoop, but sounded like a cardboard box when I put it on the consolette. That's when I noticed that there was nothing there and I remembered there being a thick piece of felt on the 13 on my other kit. Mind Blowi
