I wonder why Slingerland did not put that floor tom seam under two lugs ??

Well to me it does not look to be a 16" at all... I reckon 18 or 20"... (this would account for two overlap seam/s and what appears? to be 4 leg mounts)...

Very curious floor tom. How many lugs? At 16" head size and 18/20" deep sure looks like maybe 7 lugs per side. Have 16x16 3 leg FT with 7 lug but have never seen one like yours. Great score and very cool drums. Thanks for the photos!!

Creighton.... Lugs I think are the normal (8).. but it sure looks to be 4 legs..

Thanks, the camera angle is playing tricks on us. 16x16 FT, only one seam. Placement is correct for Slingerland.

Check eBay completed/sold listings for 60's sets in similar sizes with WMP wrap. Based solely on pictures provided: Pluses for your set: Appears mostly original. No major signs of molestation (Pearl tom mounts, extra holes etc.) Minuses for your set: Not a born together set. Some severe yellowing of wrap. Generally dirty condition. You can list them for sale on this site.
