They look like they have 1930's ludwig hardware and crinkle/hammertone finish but I don't really know what they are.

Thanks in advance

Post photos of the inside work of these timbales so I can tell you what they are, also measure the head sizes also are they made of steel. What price is your boss asking for them.

Mr. cuquito,

These look like very deep shells.

Are they still considered timbales?

If so, what names would these shell sizes have?

They remind me of stacked up Supra shells made into concert toms.

Sir, (if you have time) what are the names of the different sizes of timbales?

I know that congas have different names for the shell and head sizes.

For Congas:

Quinto (lead drum, highest)

Tres dos or tres golpes (middle)

Tumba or salidor (lowest).

Do timbales share these names?

Thank You very much

Definitely steel, I should have taken a photo of the inside damnit. Pretty sure they are 14" or 16" should have measured them. Boss is out for the weekend so I can't get to them til he gets back. I redid the contrast on one of the photos of the inside maybe it will help. Thanks guys knew this was the right place to ask. As for price he didn't set one yet.

Green Glass here you have info I have posted before on timbales sizes and how to buy them.

They are not like conga drums that have different names. But throughout the years the name have change in from its original name of timbales Frances which in reality were Kettle Drums.
