If you bought them then you didn't pay too much because you decided it was worth it to you. I think they are stunning, excellent purchase in my opinion. Its hard to believe that hoop supports the tom the way it does.

Thanks! I am amazed that it not only supports the tom but feels as solid as a separate stand. Definitely quality stuff coming out of the era!

I called it! I said it would go between $1800 and $2000, which means I think you paid a fair price on a really nice vintage kit. Too bad about the cracks on the FT, though. Should be an easy fix, though. Congrats!

Ha! Yes, indeed! So, as a newbie (and one that is not a fixer upper) what would you do for the wrap? Rewrap? Is there anything else? What is the easy fix approach?
