I have a 1967 Ludwig downbeat in champagne sparkle. Floor tom is really nice. Kick has some chipping paint inside. 12' Tom has more chipping than. Bass. Snare is Superphonic from same year. Hoops repainted on the kick, but they are slightly warped I think. I have never had a vintage kit so I'm not sure what to look for or how much it's worth. Ask. any questions you would like. Thanks.

Is there an advantage to filing receipts in alphabetical order or should they be kept in a chronological system?
How many times should a man allow himself to be subjected to Air Supply's Greatest Hits before he informs his date that "it's just not going to work out"?
If a picture paints a thousand words then why can't I paint my cat?
Pretend you are a bus driver. You head out on your route at six in the morning. The first stop takes on five passengers. The second stop brings in seven more. Then a kindergartner gets sick and the bus lets off three to allow them to get clean clothes. The bus heads out again and picks up nine more before arriving at school. When the doors open to let the kids off, the realization hits that the driver forgot to make a stop. So, the bus heads back out and pick up six more kiddos. Now, back at school, the kiddos are released off the bus. One of the little darlings sticks his gum on the drivers head. How long is the bus drivers hair?
Is it wrong to accept payment for simple jobs done for a friend of the family?
Thanks for this. These questions have been hanging over my head and I've lost quite a bit of sleep as of late. Sincerely appreciate the open forum. ... and welcome.
Oh Roger you funny guy. By the way the word problem was a trick question as obviously the bus driver is bald.
To the original post, if you could post some pictures (which do paint a thousand words - thank you RogerSling and David Gates) there are quite a few guys here that are very knowledgable on the subject.
Very proud owner of a new Blaemire Snare 6.5 x 14 made by Jerry Jenkins "Drumjinx"
Thanks Squint. Yes indeed ... awaiting pics on this one. Would love to see the kit and assist in the overall info share.
... good catch on the David Gates BREAD tune, by the way.
David Gates had a parakeet..........
Was that a Moog synthesizer Gates used on "If"? Bread is one of the most underrated soft pop bands ever. Love them.
To answer question, old drums need careful inspection. And feel free to post pics here so the experts (me not being one of them) can offer advice. :)
Have some pics of the kit but they say they are not the right size and they cannot be formatted. Now what LOL?!?!?!

First, Squint, the length of the bus driver's hair is the length of your hair. Roger started by saying "pretend you are a bus driver".
Second, Bread is indeed underrated, but not for If. Guitar Man is vastly superior.
And Drum King, welcome to the forum. Lot of experts here glad to help, but you have to post some pictures. Ask if you need any help uploading pics to this thread.

You can email the pics to one of us and we can help. You can also get some brilliant instruction from this site about how to resize pics. I'm using a Mac and it's kinda done on the 'auto', so I'm not totally with-it on what the kids are using these days to resize pics on a PC.
... and MChair303 ... brilliantly played. It is indeed 'your' hair length.
I will take some help uploading some photos please. I took them with my phone and then sent them to my email and saved them to my computer, which is a PC. Thanks in advance.
