guitar3Hey Larry....I think the intro to "IF" is just an electric guitar with the tremolo switch on and a wa wa pedal being used. Sorry...just vamping on some soft pop while waiting for pics or....faded photographs.

Thanks. After 40 years, I can rest easy now.... Of course now I gotta play the song... Nice! Where is David Gates anyway? Great songwriter. I think Mr. Hal Blaine made some bread from Bread back in the day..

First ... nice freekin' kit! Love that.

Second ... that sure looks like a natural maple inner on the bass. you mention that the paint in chipping inside the bass ... don't get it. is it natural maple inner or is it a white paint inner. hard to tell without pics of the suspected damage.

Third ... seriously nice kit.

Fourth ... could you post some pics of the suspected damage? that would certainly help assessing any possible hits in value.

Thanks.

Thanks for this response! The flaking is inside the 12' Tom not the kick. The interior is white paint on all 3 drums. Bass and floor are nice, flaking on the 12'. I'll take some pics. Thanks!

Great looking kit! Looks real clean from the pics. Not a big fan of a mount tom on a snare stand but that's just me. Have fun and enjoy those vintage Luddy's.

Oh..and thanks for being a good sport while humorous attempts at hijacking were being made.

The only reason I used the snare stand at that gig was because the bolt that goes through the tom mount off the rail was bent. I hadn't made it to the hardware store to find the right bolt, so I went with the stand. Thanks for the response!
