What the heck is this snare drum!? Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Hi. I'm new to this forum!

So first, I got a drum kit from a friend who didn't have room for it anymore, but I can't play in my house because of the noise so it has sat in my room gathering dust for a while, the poor thing. When I was at college (im on a music course) I heard some drummers talking about rogers, I remember seeing rogers on my snare drum, so I started looking around online, which is how I found this site. I couldn't find anything that is in the same color as my snare drum so decided to post some pictures in hopes someone could tell me what it is. I will post up some pictures of the full drum kit later.

Not sure what model it is someone will be able to tell you, but I am very curious about if that non-rogers lug fits in the lug holes without any mods. If it does maybe I can finally use my holiday snare without fear of snapping my bread and butters in half

Im a bassist so I don't know a great deal about drums. I'm guessing the lug is the thing to the left of the lever thing? I would check but I dont know what to look for @_@

Looks like possibly a rogers, but also possibly a mongrel. Pics of the interior and any labels/badges would be very helpful.

I had a check inside and there are no labels or serial numbers. I think there was a badge on it at one point, if you look at picture 5 you can see two metal bits where a badge might fit. I could post pictures of the interior still if needed?

That vent hole looks stencil to me... An MIJ with Rogers throw off? That butt plate looks pretty substantial though. The only Rogers snare I have is the Super Ten, the lugs are similar, but not exact. I'm certainly no Rogers guru though.

The butt plate I think is Rogers too. I am guessing its a Holiday model (hooray for blind guesses).

Could you post pics of the interior?
