I've had so many, looking for a pic of the Rogers Cleveland Brass Holiday 7-line I sold on here, bought it for $35 at an Estate sale that I got my WMP 65 Ludwig kit (pictured) and several other goodies from, best Estate Sale Ever! The Green Orchestra I picked up for $100 off Craigslist and the Lemon Standards were my first score (I got the drum bug from that find). Many other great buy/sells from C-List although craigslist is not what it used to be. Happy Hunting!
What was your best score? Last viewed: 1 minute ago
1965 Club Date/Downbeat Combo Blue Sparkle
Cleveland Rogers COB Powertone snare
1965 Ludwig Supra Snare
My best scores seemed to have been Paiste Blue label 602's.
Pair of 14 in hats for $125 and a 16 inch crash at $35 bucks,
16 was a local music store and HH were in the parking lot of music store where the buyer was off and I asked the seller what they had.
Another decent score was my Ludwig Bowling Ball Black Oyster Pearl 4 pc kit for $400 back in '94.. I later sold it like the monumental imbecile that I was at the time, for $750.. Regret is an understatement..CryBaby
I got a 60s Ludwig Classic set in sky blue pearl for free from a church, minus the snare. This was back in the mid 90s when such deals were more common.
Hmm, silver sparkle...Rogers...14X14 floor tom...plus 50 bucks for the "trouble"...!Yes. Yes you are. :)I'll go back and check but if you haven't posted a pic could we get one? [edit] went back and checked, is it WMP or silver sparkle? I mean either way....Mitch

My mistake: it is a WMP. I also have a silver sparkle transition Holiday. On same sizes. I got confused with that one. There was a time when I was picking up Rogers right and left. I still have: Blue ripple. Red wine ripple, WMP, Silver sparkle, Custom order mahogany lacquer, Blue onyx, Blue sparkle and there might be another one that I can recall now. Ill checkā¦
Cause you got the bug dont'cha?
