I won that auction and love the piece.

Yes, it is a knockoff of a Rogers which I have had in the past. It is identicle in every way except for the tray There are no markings on it and I'm assuming MIJ.

Rogers should have considered making these in metal as an option.

It is a post Rogers era Grossman Music offered item. Post April 1966 he couldn't sell/offer the black Rogers ones any more. Shown in his 70s counter catalogs al the way up to the 1986 year book.
