I was a bit rushed for time and left before the clinics. Didn't get any pics sorry. Met Mike and said hi to Matt. Mike was looking in the parts bins at the Jonic booth. He looks over at me. I see a Rogers swivo mount in his hand. I'm thinking he made a nice score. He flags me over and the mount he's holding is the exact one I need with the weird bolt pattern. Hands it to me. I would have never seen it. I grabbed a few more swivo mounts since they were in the same bin looking up at me. All have the machined collet noses. Thanks Mike!! There seemed to be a lot more parts this year. But I was there at 10am and late last year so maybe things sold out early. Was also looking for some parts for a few VDF members. Sadly that was a bust. Had a good time. Wish I could have stayed longer.

What a gyp! Did -anybody- get a few shots of the show for us? I'll settle for a few shots taken with a smart phone! Three of our guys go to the show and no pix posted for the VDF'ers who couldn't attend?

We ought to yank your VDF union cards! LOL

Kidding aside, I hope you all had a blast at the show. Did anybody see any interesting individual drums or kits? If it wasn't a 6 hours (each-way) drive for me, I would have attended. I would have enjoyed meeting you all.

No beer, food and hang-out afterwards? You jamokes don't know how to have a good time! I might have to go next year just to show you bums how it's done! :p

Hopefully -somebody- will post a few photos! Sorry I missed the show... and an opportunity to meet all of you face to face.

John: Photos will come tomorrow. I only had an hour to spend there, so I didn't waste any time looking at the new custom drums or cymbals, just the very nice vintage stuff (Oooo, that clean Roger 12-14-20 in Champagne was hard to pass up).

Glenn: A BIG thank you for helping me out with what I needed. I greatly appreciate it. It was a pleasure meeting you. Hope we see some pics soon of your B&B Cleveland you're putting together.

Matt: Great display as usual. Hope it was successful for you and worth the trouble of carting all that neat stuff. Your calfskin heads are top notch, and after hearing them, I have to wonder why I put plastic heads on anything dating prior to 1960. Forgot to bring you those old flesh hoops to recycle. We'll get together soon.

Tommy: Sorry I missed you. I think we were there only briefly at the same time. You were probably downstairs when I was upstairs and vice-versa. If you understand New Jerseyian, I talked to that guy about that thing, and he's going to hook me up. Thanks for the tip.

Will continue this tomorrow with some pics.
