Me too..of course I'd love to have 1963 keystone model in mint condition but the early 80's model is what I was first introduced to and a sound I fell in love with. My guess would be the acro's of the same depth likely would all sound virtually the same given same setup regardless what vintage. BUT then you have nuances in sound from some acro's being raw polished to powder coated I guess.

One thing is for sure. Nothing else really imitates the Acrolite sound. It definitely has a sound all its own.
