Not sure about that. The info I have on the set is from a local "Guitar Center" here in town and the info from forum members here.

I should kick your behind ;)
I'd never let go of my dads set for any amount of cash let alone 2k lol.
I wish you luck with your sale and I want that snare drum!!!! Seriously, say it got lost and send it to me....

Eh... I look at it this way: If my Dad kicked off (God forbid) and left me his saxophone collection, I certainly wouldn't play any of them. If no one in the family loved to play (and I mean loved), I'd get them appraised and put them up for auction. He'd probably do the same with my drums if my brother nephew weren't drummers.
Point is, I wouldn't know how to properly care for them and I run the risk of storing them improperly – not to mention the fact that rare, top-of-the-line instruments can bring the right person so much joy and years of use.
Just my 2 cents!

If it were the only thing I had of my dads I would not even consider selling them. I just want someone else to enjoy them. Thanks.

Well said. This is pretty much how I feel. I wished somebody in the family played. I would love to see and hear them in action.
Looks like I have deal on the set. Sale pending.
Excellent.
Thanks for sharing the history and the photos. My mouth literally watered when I saw the first pictures.
I'm with you on the idea that these drums should be played or at least displayed rather than sitting in a closet. You're making the drummer you are selling them to happy, I'm sure.
Also, your dad played on a bill with Paul Revere and the Raiders!Bowing
