A few years ago, Bev introduced me to one of our neighbors who I had never met before. The neighbor had commented; 'I hear you guys laughing all the time.' In a moment of unguarded candor, Bev pointed at me and said, "It's John, he's a really funny motherf****r!" The neighbor looked horrified at Bev's use of language and she hasn't spoken to us since! LOL

Glad you got a laugh. It was meant for Gravy, I like him and I just wanted to lighten it up for him a little. What happened to him and others is inexcusable and shameful.

Why must you people mock me? Of course I knew Minnie! It was a long time ago but, I remember it like yesterday. She had recently separated from Cab Calloway and, to tell you the truth, I took advantage of the lady while she was in a vulnerable state. Sure, everything was great for awhile. We even had a child. Have you ever heard of Mary Wells? Things started to go downhill after the birth of our daughter. No one is totally to blame. Minnie was attracted to Mr. James Brown. I hooked up with Bea Aurthur. Damned strange world.
