Got back in touch with the seller and he kindly sent me numerous photos of the drum pile. Though after really looking through all the photos, taking into account the things he said he had wanted I still feel safe around $500-$600. I added up what I knew I could sell things for ( reasonably and comfortably ) and came out a little above double of what I would spend. I'll try and get a couple of the photos posted in a few, but here is a list I made of the drums I know are for sale, and what I think I can get for them. Didn't list any hardware as it is all just stacked in little bins.
Three MIJ Kits - one WMP,One Green Flame, One Blue Sparkle. From what I see all are just bass and rack tom. I think realistically I can get maybe $150 for each ( max?? )
1980's Tama Swingstar Japan made. Great drums but don't command a lot of money. The kit is white and is bass, floor, two rack toms. I can maybe get $200-300 ( again, dime a dozen not big sellers )
The Ludwig classics look in great shape ( toms and floor do ) and I think I can get $800 ( provided that there are no alterations I don't know of )
So I'm seeing roughly $1300 - $1500 with everything selling at around what I listed. But that still doesn't include van time, drive time,gas,etc... I think my offer was very reasonable and based in reality. But any further insight from you guys is always appreciated.
