So I finished watching a movie and saw this on ebay. Rolled the dice and bought it. I hope its a nice kit as I ended up selling my 18" bop kit. Still as fate would have it tonight I found a Gretsch 4244 18x14 so I have that size covered again.

Very nice! Yes - it's funny how stuff tends to fall in ones lap sometimes. Those are beauties....and to have the 18 again - perfect.

Seller got back to me with pictures. We have silver sealer and paper tags! Toms are as I suspected 12x8 and 14x14 (models 4415 and 4417). If the bass drum had any extra holes ever I can't see them. Everything looks super clean and as it should.

Is the bass a converted 16" floor tom? It's hard to tell from the pictures what color the finish is. Nice score.

Thanks guys. I know there are a lot of doubters...just like with my 18" bass drum from the 60s. How many of us though have been part of the Gretsch 60's bop club?
