How wide are 20" bass drum hoops. Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Looks to me like the outer (Rounded) edge has been re edged reducing the width. The inlay usually sits to the centre of those hoops...

I agree that those hoops don't look original. Outer side looks cut down. Good catch!

Thanks Wayne, but I'm a NUT JOB and these need work. They need new inlays, need to be repainted AND I think that they don't look right because they are a little narrow.I've decided to send them back and find the right ones that are the right width and the right inlays.I told you I'm a nut job! I'm spending so much time and money on these, it would always bother me if they weren't right. Anyone wanna buy some 20" hoops???

Agreed Norcoastal,you have to be happy with the way they look and i`m much like yourself in that regard-they have to be correct or they`re going back.Hope you find the right hoops and no,i don`t need any hoops.Best of luck in your search.

They are 20 inches wide.....(sorry, could not resist)
