Yes he is, but they haven't set the scenario up very well around him. The sound of the snare is a bit empty to me, and the Bass Drum sounds a bit woolly, well on my speakers. Toms are quite nice but seem out of balance with the aforementioned. The second floor tom sounds like its from a different kit. If your gonna flog some drums, then you got to get the sound right.

Boy, some of you guys are so critical, I thought they sounded great and I attribute a lot of that to the drummer playing them.

Hehe yeah maybe I am. There's certainly nothing wrong with Steve's playing. I enjoyed that part, the guy is effortless and cool. And I actually like the look of those Sonors, but the sound, meh. Thats all I'm saying.
