That kit is going to be the best sounding set of drums you own!

Congrats on a killer score!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Congratulations JC, that’s a great find !!!

That 99 Super snare alone is worth more than you paid for the entire lot.

They went to a good home, very happy for you.

From FFR428

That Beverly cymbal is cool. Are the hi hats Zildjian?

Glen, the hats are the Zilco

The 20" is a Zilco

The Sabian is a 20"

Then Beverly is the one with the rivet holes, 18"

The Zildjian is a 15" heavy cymbal.

Thank you!

Any way to date these? I need help figuring out what to look for for parts. Di the bass drum have 4 spurs?

I have lots of questions

They are cleaning up nice, no holes in the 14, the 12 has two lugs that had the bottom hole enlarged to install some mij lugs. But bith drums have almost zero fade, tight wrap and very good edges.

Now off to the bass drum!

Thank you!

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Congrats on an amazing score! After following a few of your projects I know this kit is in the right hands. Enjoy! Super 99 looks super cool!

Those Zilcos by Azco hihats are Canadian made Zildjians sometime from 68 to mid 70s in Meductic, New Brunswick, before it became the Sabian Factory. I've heard some really nice thin trashy 15" ones.

1964 Ludwig Champagne Super Classic
1970 Ludwig Blue Oyster Super Classic
1977 Rogers Big R Londoner 5 ebony
1972/1978 Rogers Powertone/Big R mix ebony
60's Ludwig Supersensitive
Pearl B4514 COB snare ( the SC snare)
Pearl Firecracker
PJL WMP maple snare
Odds & Sods

Sabians, Paistes, Zildjians, Zyns, UFIPs, MIJs etc

Jeff, to put a more precise date to these, you would have to post some pictures of the interiors and the edges to determine if they’re 4 or 6-ply.

The tall boy COB hoops would place them more to the first half of the 1960’s.

About your search for parts and factory correctness ... welcome to Camco, the land of drum-strippers, horribly overpriced parts, strange anomalies and heated forum discussions,... Welcome

The toughest find will be the 12” hoop.

Camco lovers tend to hold on to their parts because they’re so scarce but over the past years you made a lot of good friends here so members might chime in to come to the rescue.

Thanks Stedi! I did talk to a couple of members about parts before buying the kit and was warned about the high price parts.

All of my drums have hoops, although the 14 has one that looks and feels different. What I need right away is 10 lugs.

I count five plys on this kit. In the pic below, the white is the re-ring with a tiny portion of the edge broke off, and it is separated a bit from the shell. And all the drums have the same white paint inside, and in real good shape I might add.

The biggest mystery to me is the tom mount. See all of those hole,s, are any of them original or was this a virgin bass that two different mounts installed. I included a shot of the funky looking tom mount that came with it. I assume it is not the correct one.

Last picture shows a kit with four spurs, so I need two of those it looks like. But do you think that tom mount with the triangular base is the correct one for mine?

Too bad for the extra holes, this kit is in real good condition, it is cleaning up great, not much pitting on chrome.

Thank you for your response and guidance!

Thank you!
