I just sold one of your stands on ebay, very well built!!
Let's have your 60s questions Last viewed: 1 minute ago
One of these days I will purchase a set of Lokfast stands just because, but for now I have no use for them other than nostalgia. My very first kit was an Olympic but it came with a pair of Lokfast cymbals stands, an Olympic hi-hat stand and a Camco snare stand. I still have the Camco, but I wish I had those Lokfast back.

I am thoroughly enjoying this thread, Mr Kaywood. I've always aspired to someday owning a vintage Beverley kit, but they are far between these days. Do you have any Beverley memorabilia that you could share with the Forum?
Thanks Mr. Kaywood
I am facinated.
Here is one that has been floating around the forums.
Who designed the very first "Imperial lug", and installed them on their drums.?
I thought I saw a Beverly snare with Imperials on it.
And that started the questions. Was Beverly first with the
du du du daah "Imperial" design?
Or was it Ludwig?
Thanks SA

Was too young to remember what this Beverley kit was called but believe it had an 18" bass drum. It's the only pic I have of it.
You have got me stumped, Green Glass Drum.. I have never heard of "Imperial" lugs. I really haven't got a clue. So I am afraid I can't help you. Sorry.
They weren't used on Premier, either. Sounds like Ludwig or Gretch.

youre probably familiar with the imperial lug at least by its looks if not name. ludwig used it on the supraphonic. it was also used decades earlier on many other ludwig drums.

Yes, mike, NOW I know what an Imperial lug is, Mike! I copied it (or as near as I safely could for the Cosmic 21). So to the the post a page or so back, Ludwig were DEFINITELY first and Beverley was second. I still think that lug was Ludwig's number one. A real cracker.

I love this drum.
