Oh! Almost forgot, here's some pics with rest of the kit!! (btw I'm using the legs from the 15'' floor tom on the 16'', and the heads from the 15'' floor tom on the snare)

Just a little Update, I got a 17'' Zildjian A ping ride from the 50's (I think?) for my 14th birthday, me and my parents agreed to split the price, so I paid for half. I chose it because It's the same size Levon used, and It sounded so similar to his. Just a bit darker and lower pitched. I have a soundfile (from Steve Maxwell's) but I can't post it directly on the site.

I also installed an LED light in the kick. (the fixture was allready there when I bought the drum)

Hey, none taken. I'm just kinda balancing things out, I play a Gretsch kit wide open with little to no muffling (minimal snare and kick) and I like change. I have a different kit for a different sound. Keeps it interesting I guess. But I do let them sing on occasion, and boy they sing a sweet song. Plus, this is a Levon Helm kit...

These are actually the lightest drums I've ever lugged around. The 26 incher is half the weight of an average 20. Each drum on this kit is feather light.

For some reason, the first two pictures came out black and white. I'm not too good with cameras :p

I came up with the solution to cut out some old heads becaude I only tucked one head for each drum. P.S. to all you dog owners, don't let your pooch alone with a wet calfskin head, it just might disappear...
