Well,

Posting these up for a friend to get a general idea of worth and any other info anyone would like to share. Thanks!

I'd place a value anywhere from $1,500 - $2,000 ( maybe a little higher ) Given the age, the fact that the lugs, hoops are all wood and seem to be in great condition I feel that's a fair price range. Certainly more a collector kit than a player, but a complete kit none the less. Heck I'd start at $3,000 and see what happens.

Wow, that is some kind of cool find. I wouldn't be surprised to find the Ludwig Company itself would be interested in recovering that kit for their own history.

Very cool set! I love that the stand for the floor tom is intact! Hopefully, the bottom heads are in good shape. The white paint should polish up nicely.

Unfortunately, it seems I am not allowed to post photo attachments here any more, so here is a link to an ad for the Victory drums.

Thanks all !! Hope to take a look see in a few days. More pics then.

Mr. Cooper as always thanks for your help. Reason the advert wouldn't post is too large a file size. I'll see if a reduced file will post and still be readable.

Thanks! Most of my photos and scans are high resolution and are pretty large but until recently, it wasnt an issue. I've posted that catalog page before. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for helping!

Happy to help. Let me know if anything you want to post fails and will get it sorted.

My old eyes can read the text after three clicks on the attachment. Cool how it was called an "outfit".

Hey nice kit ! I collect World War II drums and have been in search of that floor tom stand. Might you consider separating that from the bunch? If not, I would be interested in seeing some more detailed pictures of it alone please…… Also I believe some of the prices quoted in this thread are a bit ambitious. I will also say that since the hardware is made of rock maple that these drums are quite playable. Thanks for your consideration…… Boom

I don't own the outfit. Can say without asking the stand will stay with the drums. Need to build some for myself so will get a usable drawing out ASAP.
