Ludwig 1943 'Victory' kit. Last viewed: 3 minutes ago

Wow !! What a great kit. The natural maple lug and hoop finish really pop. You got an outstanding deal.

Outfit in this thread would look so much better like yours. Appears the lugs were original white so best to not change.

Thanks for the post.

From bermuda

I picked this up a few years ago, it was priced at $2500 although I got it for a little less. :) It's in excellent condition, and all original (except the snare stand, I added that and it appears to be the correct one.) Also no pedal or cymbal arm, still looking for both. Hard to say how much it's been restored, if at all. It's very clean, a little too clean, but a well-known older musician owned it, and it's possible that it would have stayed pristine for over 70 years. (Most of my kits will be pristine when they eventually go up for sale.)I agree with the pricing suggested, try $2000 but be ready to take $1500. No less than $1250 though, those kits are rare, even in fair-good condition. I've only seen 3 or 4 in person (but none as nice as mine! :) )Bermuda

Holy Cow! What a beautiful set! One of the finest WWII sets I've ever seen. Bravo!
