Eh-hem - I've attempted a download of the shell. Hope it works.

My 2c is that the drum is not COB. I have one of each and they are very different. 1st picture- drum on left is COB. The lip is very much rolled over. 2nd picture- COB drum has a very obvious seam in the shell. 3rd picture- COB snare has a large crimp at the snare beds. I'm not the expert, just lucky enough to own both. Others may chime in.

Wow, Autopilot, you're prepared! Thank you.

What's w/ the magnet slightly holding? Is is Ludalloy or COS. Once again w/ the 60's drums I'm getting more confused -

a magnet will stick slightly to rims and lugs that are steel but not to ludaloy or brass .

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I'm with Yoshi, I think the jaghog nailed it. COS.

Too many great drums to list here!

Not to be uncharitable at all - but shouldn't this be a sticky? I thought it was. It's kind of tedious after 30 times. The magnet. The scrapings. Just weigh it. COBS are close to 10 lbs. They're probably heavier than any drum you've got and certainly more than a supra, which feel -kinda light. Welcome

Troutstudio has that right. Brass shells are very much heavier.
