And dennis played just as much on BBs albums as ringo did on beatles/ sure they got help from hal blaine and earl palmer but the beatles had their session drummers and guitarists too.
Poll, which drummer inspired you to play drums ringo starr or dennis wilson ? Last viewed: 0 seconds ago
And whats the point in "trolls" and "spammers" testing my knowledge jus because I wasnt alive to have seen the history when it was being made// Im one of the few younger drummers that actually give a **** enough to debate things for what they were/are.
The real dolts are the ones that make assumptions on what they THINK theyre reading/ Ive had dip****s read into what I remark and get the wrong impression and that aint MY problem. I dont undermine the beatles, they made some good songs but they werent anywhere near the level of brian wilson and nowhere near the talent of the BBs ,but thats a given. Dont give the beatles the wrong credit, that goes to george martin/ HE and he alone was and is responsible for taking a mediocre pub band from liverpool who was rejected by countless record companies and making them superstars, the same way jim henson did with kermit and miss piggy hahahaha
Just like certain body parts, this is your opinion, nothing more, the Beatles mark on history is sound and far more than the B/B'S did or will ever make. look at the poll Dennis wilson isn't even in the running. look at the individual members of both bands careers. the Beatles members have trounced the B/B'S Into the ground. Look at how many other artist have covered the Beatle compared to the B/B'S No comparsion in the two. The British invasion for which you weren't around for was fronted by the Beatles, every kid in America life changed one cold night in November after the airing of the Beatles on Ed sullivans show, all music companies had their best sales years after that night, it has never been equaled. Here is only one of thousands of covers. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRzKUVjHkGk&list=RDbRzKUVjHkGk"]JOE COCKER -With A Little Help From My Friends- 1969 Woodstock.. - YouTube[/ame]
Man, that is a killer performance. I have always loved that track and that performance. Just remember to engage your snares before the song starts.

Yeah but there have been countless mediocre groups in the last five decades that have sold millions of records ,,Im talkin bou the difference between quantity and quality.... the beatles were good ,they werent great and THE reason they went from a pub band ripping off buddy holly and chuck berry to an overnight sensation was because of george martin, george martin didnt just produce their records, he marketed them and co-wrote songs without taking credit,,,, there were/are countless groups that are good but if they dont have the publicity their records dont sell..Im just emphasizing what shouldnt be ignored, Im not undermining a legendary group and thats the bogus perception that dolts get from it rather than agreeing to the facts.

Dolts the mirror reflects back. Quality= the Beatles. have you taken a look at the poll. Dennis Who??? you spew about Dennis and his prowess, Ringo is a left handed player playing a right handed kit, try setting up your kit the opposite of your natural dominant side see how bad you sound. Also another thing if you actually knew anything about the music business If George Martin wrote the song why would he REALLY ? Give the credit to John, paul, george or ringo, He would get the monetary residules of the song not them?
I should probably let this go....but alas, I cannot. Why do you insist on insulting nearly everyone here? That is simply bad form.
As to Sir George Martin, odds are we wouldn't have heard of him were it not for his very important involvement with a group of, as you mistakenly call them, mediocre lads from Liverpool. You can spout opinions all day long as facts, but they are still only your opinions: opinions to which you are most certainly entitled but opinions none the less.
Unfortunately there is simply no way to quantify the impact that the Beatles have had on contemporary music. I would hazard to guess the impact to be far more profound than we might ever imagine. At some point, that is a fact that you might want to own up to and quit trying to convince the entire rest of the planet that you are right and everyone else is wrong and insulting people in the process. Just a suggestion. There is absolutely nothing wrong with preferring the Beach Boys to the Beatles. That is one of the great things about art and entertainment; there is something for every taste. Just because you prefer the BB doesn't mean that those that disagree with you are dolts.

well stated as all your post have been, but I think we are taking a wizz on the electric fence with kookadams. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wW6rENTfaU"]Ren & Stimpy: Don't Whiz on the Electric Fence! - YouTube[/ame]
Hey guys, here it is, no Dennis, just the wrecking crew. Brian producing. No beach boy musicians on this. [ame]https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cD0_Swdr2Qks[/ame]
Just the studio musicians, and then the boys harmonies.
