I agree with you GG. I've only been here since last year, and into vintage drums for about 3 years. Fortunately, I've had the income to amass quite a nice collection, but most of my posts are of an inquisitive or complimentary nature. I would like my title to be and stay 'student'.

Well... truth be told, we really can't change the software... it is what it is! I was 'jes sayin' it would be GRAND that we could! And regarding personal avatars: More bad news I'm afraid... you can't... get one I mean. From the inception of this forum, David didn't want personal avatars, thus they aren't enabled. The ONLY reason I have one, is my admin/mod position, as David felt it would be easy to recognize the admins/mod with a picture. I'm sure you DO have an avatar on other forums though, no? Oh, and lastly...
You can borrow the bass drum mike/stand, but I'll need it back before the next gig!

I mean, I have "Vintage drum guru" written under my nickname, but that's just because I wrote a few hundred posts like "Oh, man, those Club dates look awesome!!!!!!1" or "Gee, I'd love to have a swimming pool filled with sparkling champagne and floating Zildjians carrying immense piles of potato fries." I don't feel like a guru. This title should be awarded personally by admins to people who've proven they know their drums. I'm sure everyone has a few names in his head.
I like the floating Zildjians carrying fries! Can we make them sweet potato fries, i think they'd go better with the champagne.
