Not only to you play well Tommy, but you certainly know how to get a great sound out of those Ludwigs. The tuning is some warm and open. Very nice all around!
I also notice that 26" bass was pushing back the iPhone. Thunderous.

Beautiful Jeff ! Almost looks like the new Ludwig Signet finish..

Dan!
THANK YOU for having a look/listen, and for the nice words! You know I am a Rogers guy through and through, but I will say that once I got these drums set up in the right area head wise, they tensioned/tuned up nicely. I have no complaints with Ludwig at all!, but I will say that all my Rogers sets were much easier to get in "the zone" tuning wise. Bass drums and snare drums are all the same as I set them up exactly the same irrespective of make.

THANK YOU Mitch! Glad you enjoyed! It really was so Jeff/jccabinets could see/hear the drums.. and .. a nice opportunity to check out the recording capability of the iPhone 6. I will probably experiment some more at some point too!
In the proper spirit of the thread, I'll attach a few from a gig I played with my 1950 WFL/Ludwig Buddy Rich Classics. It was "stage light" after sound check, so the lighting is a little dark... but the drums are there! I only gigged this set a few times, and always inside venues. The WMP is still pretty vibrant given the fact that the drums are 65 years old!

Man Tommy, I like that one even more!
Thanks, man. Yes, they are 100 per cent original. I purchased the set on special order back in the mid 70's and chose maple because I thought that would go well on stage with a double bass (I was playing lots of jazz gigs then). They later spent a good deal of time in their cases as I was reluctant to take them out on the road but they seem to have developed a nice patina in spite of that.
