Sir Paul and Ringo last night........ Last viewed: 3 hours ago

I had to watch the Grammies just to see Paul and Ringo on stage, did anyone else catch what I saw right away. So as I'm watching Ringo play, I can hear snare drum shots when he was not even touching the snare, cymbal crashes while not hitting the cymbals, first thing I thought, you got to be kinding me, Ringo list his chops so they had a drum feed directly going to the song. It wasn't till after the tune I saw the real drummer off to the left, Ringo was just keeping a steady beat, not doing any fills and anything other straight time. Too bad, felt kind of let down after all that, I guess Ringo didn't did not keep up with playing like his counter parts. His drum set had a keystone badge, could not tell what era it was, did not recognize the wrap.

I saw it, looked like a Monroe badge, new kit. It was still cool to see them perform.

Thank you!

Weird. I didn't watch but are you suggesting Ringo doesn't have it anymore? Doesn't he play at the All Star Band shows?

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

A lot of disappointed fans. No Beatles song. One of Paul's songs.

Never heard it before.

Yes, Abe was also playing, they just weren't showing him. You could only see him at times when the full band was in view.

My wife made a comment and I said Abe is Paul's regular drummer. They were both playing, but Ringo was just playing the groove. Abe did the rest. The song was from Paul's new album. Enjoyed the performance none the less.
