A lot of disappointed fans. No Beatles song. One of Paul's songs. Never heard it before.

Yeah leave it up to Paul to always be pushing the latest release. He could've done one Beatles tune and let Ringo go all out. Should have did the Abbey Medley drum solo!

I saw the show, that was a song called Queenie Eye from Pauls latest album, it's great, I suggest you guys give it a listen. There's a bonus dvd included that's really cool. I loved the performance.

Hey I enjoyed Ringo doing Photograph, reminded me when we saw him with his all star band, one of the best concerts. It was fun to watch him and Paul together, even though there was another drummer.

Thank you!

Im sure Ringo can still play, but i dont think he puts much time into his chops by rehearsing. Im sure Paul just said play it like the old days and we,ll do the magic in the studio later...Very sad not having the other 2 guys around though.

Hit like you mean it!!

I enjoyed the performance and frankly would have been a little shocked had Abe not been playing as well. I was disappointed that Ringo was not very rehearsed or possibly did not even know the song beyond a cursory listen, but it was a cool moment none the less. Besides, I really, really like Abe Laboriel Jr.'s playing and singing. He is a monster. Actually, Paul's entire band is really great.

Keep these facts in mind, and you'll will realize why they make the arrangements they do:

Ringo Starr: Age 73 (July 7, 1940)

Abe Laborial: Age 42 (March 23, 1971)

It's easy to forget his age when we can still watch him on that most famous of events in many of our lives when Ed Sullivan announced: The Beatles!

Fact is, drumming takes a lot of energy. At 73, you've more often than not begun to try and conserve energy.

It was great to see them together again, and yes Photograph was great.Paul's band is fantastic Abe included. It was not what some of us would have liked BUT remember, this coming Sunday February9 there is a two hour special honoring the most important day in my quest to be a drummer. It has many artists involved and will be who knows what BUT there will be something special at the exact time the Beatles first took the stage 50 years ago to the day and date when Ed introduced them. That will be special enough for me.The only thing that could make it better would be John and George.I am truly excited!

Paul and Ringo getting together to play at the Grammies doesn't do it for me. (If) it had been John, Paul, George & Ringo at the Enormo-Dome somewhere before John & George passed away, -that- would have really scratched an itch!

It wasn't another Milli-Vanilli incident. I think Dan nailed it. The man is 73... he was just up there for show.

Just a personal note: I don't like Paul McCartney. Never have. For me, John Lennon was, 'The Beatles'.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

I didn't see the show so no comment on that. But thought I'd add this....

Did anyone see the new Musicians Friend magazine? They are havind a "British Invasion" sweepstake. Also a nice write up of comments from different musicians. Just thought it was neat.

Was gonna add a photo but cant get to do so. I'll try again after i resize and see if that works
