Here's what will happen if you sell them for a grand, a matching tom will show up at a reasonable price, but you already sold the kit.

Bingo! If you're not desperate for money, hang on to them and wait to find a match. There have been singles in this exact finish on the market in the last year. They will come up again. Then with a little love and care you will have a very valuable kit.
I'm going back and forth with it because I really could use the money right now and I don't really have the extra cash to shell out for a rack tom.

I've been in your shoes many times and I always regretted selling a kit because I needed cash, pretty soon the money is gone from the sale and you're back in the same boat. If it's not a matter of feeding your family or paying the mortgage, keep the kit.
Are those 2 pieces still available? If so PM me im very interested .
thx
I thought some of the big names weren't using a mounted tom any longer. I see it on Youtube all the time.
In the short term, why wouldn't you get a Gretsh or Slingerland with the same type of mount or use a snare stand. Now you're up and running. Goes for any of you.
I found a kit like this Camco in a different finish, like a grey satin flame, complete, at an antique shop while on vacation in the U.S a decade ago.. I saw them from quite a few feet away and they were mounted on a top shelf of the shop..I thought they were some antique Euro cheapo brand, so ignored them..The price tag was $300..
