I'm obviously biased and I've posted photos of this set ad nauseum but it's still my favorite....

Me too. Reminds me of a lime snow cone.

From Dan Boucher

This is the one that got me more than any other set over the years, and I've probably owned 30 or 40 sets. However, none have been super rare or exotic finishes:

My favs from 1-3: Rogers red onyx 2. Rogers WHITE MARINE PEARL,

AND 3: SLINGERLAND YELLOW TIGER.

I know this is the VINTAGE Drum Forum, but the OP doesn't say Vintage drums, so here is my favorite:

My DW's are breath taking! Bought them as soon as I saw them.

Slingerland yellow tiger.

That era of Slingerlands also has my favorite lugs and hoops.

I also like black/gold Duco.

I'm pretty proud of my unique Ludwig kit that i restored with a really cool looking wrap called "Burl Silver". Ringo Starr just auctioned a kit in that same finish which he had customized for him by Ludwig and the company Lumigraf located here in my home town.. But if i were to choose a classic finish, i would say Ludwig's rare and elusive Pink Oyster Pearl. Something about that kit when aged that doesn't look like anything else.
