I'm obviously biased and I've posted photos of this set ad nauseum but it's still my favorite....
Which drum set is the best looking of all... Last viewed: 3 minutes ago
Why my Levon kit of course!
I know this is the VINTAGE Drum Forum, but the OP doesn't say Vintage drums, so here is my favorite:
My DW's are breath taking! Bought them as soon as I saw them.
1965 Ludwig Clubdate Oyster Blue
1966 Ludwig Clubdate Oyster Black
1969 Ludwig BB Blue Oyster Keystone Clubdate

Early 60's Camco Oaklawns Champagne Sparkle
Slingerland yellow tiger.
That era of Slingerlands also has my favorite lugs and hoops.
I also like black/gold Duco.

I'm pretty proud of my unique Ludwig kit that i restored with a really cool looking wrap called "Burl Silver". Ringo Starr just auctioned a kit in that same finish which he had customized for him by Ludwig and the company Lumigraf located here in my home town.. But if i were to choose a classic finish, i would say Ludwig's rare and elusive Pink Oyster Pearl. Something about that kit when aged that doesn't look like anything else.
