Perhaps I missed it in an earlier post- what band are you with?
great drum
The drum has turned to a gnome status now
I was talking with a friend of mine here on the forum.I told him how traveling on the road with a band cansometimes be monotonous and make a person crazy.Sometimes it's good to stop by tourist areas, landmarks, points of interest to spicethings up while traveling on the road. I told him that I had taken the 7k snare drum alongwith me during my last road trip. We stopped a few places along our route inthe southeast of the USA, we decided to take a few photos of the 7k snare with a cheap disposable camera(while traveling through the state of North Carolina) toadd to the scrap book. I did it for fun while on the road. Anyway, to make a long story short, he had asked meto post a few pictures of the drum that were taken duringthat trip. I didn't think posting the pictures would be of anyinterest to anyone, however, he begged me to share these. Here are just a few photos of the 7k snare while wewere on the road traveling.... As you can see, travelingwith a band on the road can make you delirious and crazy..... ha ha.... (The 7k snare drum posing as the Traveling Gnome). The photos will be here for a short time for viewing: Here are a few photos from my collection of the 7k snare posing as the "Traveling Gnome" at thefollowing locations: #1. I'm pictured here with my friend Jeff Campitelli (drummer for Joe Satriani).....
...... As we are posing for this photo, I start to realize (while I'm sitting there)
how nice and comfortable Jeff's drum throne really is.
This drum kit is Jeff Campitelli's DW Oyster Black kit.
You will see this kit at many Joe Satriani concerts and
on several live DVDs that have been recorded and released
world wide during the past several years.
