oh yeah! now we're talking. those really look nice. I can only imagine how well they sound. congrats man. I know you've been wanting some for a long time. I dig the deal you and jerry did. I think its awesome you've got a vintage set and yet have one of jerry's new snare drums. best of both worlds. enjoy them..

"best of both worlds."

Couldn't have said it better myself! Man, I have to get you up here one time, we'd have a blast. Lots of great toys... and yes, a long wait for these indeed!

Congratulations John! That is a great kit and a fantastic story. I am glad you have realized your dreams of green glass.

Are your resonant heads Evans G1 clear or are they the specific Evans resonant heads? Also, when is Remo going to start putting their bass drum logos at the bottom of their kick drum heads? I would leave their logo if they would do that but as it is I remove them or use Evans.

From Mike T

Hmmmmmm I wonder if they will make a 14x26 inch bass drum........

Their site says they'll make custom sizes. Looks like the biggest standard diameter is 24".

You might need a permit from your local zoning board for causing a sonic boom with a 26"!

Believe it or else!

I'll post some more photos in a couple of days. Bev's mom passed away today and we'll be taking some time to deal with that. I'll be back to the forums shortly... gotta put drums on the side for now though.
