I didn't get any pictures either. I tried to get one phone pic of Zorro, but I was in the middle of the crowd. I was way in back for Bernard.

Why was Zoro set up with his back to Bernard Purdie? Did anyone ask him about his supposed Beatle recordings?Hmmmm

Zorro sets up with his side to the audience.

He was sitting in his seat at his kit when Bernard asked him to start playing and they played together for a while. Improv- I doubt it was part of any plan...

I was there! Anyone else see that beautiful gold late 60's Keystone badge Ludwig w/ matching canister throne with the virgin 20" kick and toms on a stand?

I saw the kit, but not the throne... That was a cool kit!

I was drooling over the gold sparkle Gretsch kit upstairs with the lofty price tag...

Does anyone know how much the old 16" blue/silver duco paint radio king floor tom with streamline lugs was? It was in the room to the left as you walked in. I got there a bit after 12 and there was no one there I guess they were at the Zoro clinic. By the time I worked my way back it was gone. Not that I needed it but it might have followed me home if the price was right. There was no price on the drum. That place was packed~! Yes Sir

You got there after 12?!?!

The show started at 10:00 and I sold some of my stuff by 10:10!

The best stuff/deals are early and at the very end (when you have more bargaining power).

Mr. Purdie and Zoro were both phenomenal and very gracious. I think the thing they did together was off the cuff spur of the moment. What a thrill it would be to have Bernard "Pretty" Purdie ask you to play with him. Here's a couple of pics I took.
