Just few bands I can remember right now - Wolfmother, Hogjaw, Stonefield, Royal Thunder. They're all completely different, but each and everyone of rocks hard.

I recommend you this great webcomic, it's called 3chorddorks.com - aside from being quite funny, the author also often mentions contemporary bands he likes. There's still lot of hard rock'n'roll out there, it's just not in the mainstream anymore.

Love you guys, but that has to be one of the goofiest "bad" bands I've seen in a loooooooong time.

That bass player takes himself WAY too serious. Very comical. He reminded me of every bad biker bassist I've ever played with ... only with more attitude and the looks of a CPA. Freekin' funny stuff.

The wife and I were laughing hysterically ... until we just had to turn it off.

I honestly honestly honestly thought you had posted this as a joke. That was, until enough time elapsed and I saw the legitimate responses. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

Gov't Mule? Maybe too bluesy. Great guitar, though.

Gotta be some new bands keeping it heavy; though, I wouldn't know. I don't do radio and most music I buy is older. Love that Pandora.

Wasn't big on the OP's vid, but perhaps I'll listen again.

Will be interesting to see what else is suggested, here.

RogerSling, lol well lets see the bass players name is Glen Hughes his credentials he played in a band called Trapeze they were very popular in the late 60's and early 70's then he joined Deep Purple and sang vocals with the then not popular David Coverdale they made two or three albums some of deep purples finest stuff, then he played with the late great Gary Moore RIP so if he wants to take himself seriously i think he is entitled :) Jow Bonammassa is a very good guitar player and of course jason Bonham is the son of John Bonham ...you must not be much into classic rock and roll ? no problem at least in a way it was entertaining for you .. :)
