Yes both are good tracks their music is overall very good in all aspects, and the the groove does indeed take me to a time when music was alot of fun and less encumbered than today...
Clutch. Hard driving blues orientated rock with a powerful vocal style and an amazing drummer, John Paul Gaster. you tube some songs from Pure Rock Fury, The newer albums are more blues orientated, nothing like Govt Mule, but are good.
Bonus JP Is playing a WMP Slingerland kit this summer. don't know if it's vintage but it's cool.

I've been a Clutch fan for years. They really have a solid sound with a bluesy backbeat at times. My personal favorite album is their self titled, or Motherless Child.
I listened to Chickenfoot a few times and really it never hit me like Clutch did. Not sure why, or what it was...but they just aren't my cup of tea. Then again with me, music is as much about what I am listening to as how I am listening to it...so maybe a fresh approach would do it.
Truthfully I have been getting much more into more local stuff than big name musicians and bands. There is a two man outfit from Ft. Wayne, Indiana called Left Lane Cruiser that seriously blew my mind the first time I heard em. Hard hitting, heavily blues inspired, raw, love it. I plan to catch one of their shows soon.
For any of you Aussies down here..
Joe's headed to OZ in October..I'm in for the Sydney show..
