Well my main plan is to fix em up and play the hell out of em.
Im not real sure just what all i am gonna do with them, i kinda thought of a rewrap but got a lot of comments of the popularity of the color. I got stuff going thru my head andevery time i look at the photos more thoughts run thru. I look at the photos a lot too. Im waiting to get the drums home b4 i make any deffinent decisions.
But to be completely honest......these are what i wanted as my tie dye kit. Tie dye Ludwigs were my dream.
Robyn
I wonder if there is a way to ty dye wood, ?
Thank you!

I bet there is a way jeff. would probly need to usa a whitish color of wood. I bet if we was to stain the wood with dye maybe with a bunched up rag....hmmmm...just thinking here....there ya go jeff, got me thinking again.

Robyn
See jeff im right....it can be done. Where theres a will theres a way

The more i look, i think them boards have been painted then sanded. Its still cool tho.
Robyn
Floors are quarter sawn so the end grain is on the face. It looks like they were stained white, then dipped into dark color to soak in the end grains and wiped off till the white showed again. The longer you let stain soak before wiping, the darker it stays.
