Robyn WOW! Those are super cool. I like Ludwigs red sparkle. I like tye die a lot too. It'll be fun to see which way you do them. That's a very sweet Acrolite too!! Nevin and John are both great people to deal with. I'm glad it all worked out for you. You've been wanting those Ludwigs or some time now. Congrats.

I'm surprised you still have those Slingerlands!! Super nice deal with the solid maple snare too! Well worth the money. I hope someone gets them soon. Great deal there.

Glenn.

Robyn - The Hollywood shells... is that rash 'in' the wrap, or crap that's on the surface? If the surface of the wrap hasn't been compromised, those drums could come out looking pretty good after a #3, #2, #1 Novus treatment. I love red sparkle, it's a rich color that always looks great in any setting. It would be cool if you can save them and keep them in their original finish. Whatever you do is cool, it would just be nice to see them restored.

Red is also a great 'hot color' for a lady-drummer's drum kit! If you really want to impress the cows, you can wear a white evening gown when you play them! :p

John

Too many great drums to list here!

LOL john, you are a funny guy, me in a evening gown, not happening

Im not real sure about the "rash" on the wrap. Thats why im not sure which way to go with them. I will say this....if the drums clean up good and i can restore the red sparkle, that is what i will do and the drums will stay red sparkle. But if i cant get rid of that "rash"...they will be tie dyed. I plan to do all i can to keep them original. If wrap is the way i go, i am gonna try to wrap over the red sparkle, that way it will still be there incase they end up in someone elses hands, they will still be original.
