Major delays with Drummaker.com - Andy Foote Last viewed: 1 minute ago

WARNING-WARNING-WARNING- drummaker Andy Foote is sending out coupons, or better known as " FUNNY MONEY ", beware people, use at own risk. More and more people are shareing there stories and more to come. I am now at 137 days from the time I placed my original order and still no credit back or e-mail. As of 2 1/2 weeks ago was the last time I checked and he had not filed for bankrucpty in the state of Tennesse, how ever please keep in mind if and when that does take place the business will be able to walk from all BAD DEBT. Latest on this....my claim against Drummaker via my bank/credit card (just the smaller part of the $400 odd of mechandise promised for delivery variously in June, July, August and September) is being disputed because "services were given in full and as a result M has every right to retain funds".

So we're not even in the realm of "we've had problems, let's fix it", Drummaker are just bald-faced lying and saying they've shipped the goods. I hope this can be of some use to anyone else pursuing this character.

At what point does someone look at themself in a mirror and think "what I am doing is wrong"? I don't understand. I've made my share of bad decisions in my life that I regret. But to continue this charade is just perplexing. Here's hoping for good resolutions to all dealings with Mr. Foote in the new year.

I am perplexed as well. I have always liked dealing with Andy. While having people air their grievances in a public forum like this can be damaging, it can also be a great asset when a business has a direct opportunity to address the issue(s) at hand. Satisfactorily doing so only improves the image of a business. All businesses will have issues, how those issues are handled separated the good from the others. Why Andy has chosen to remain silent now is very saddening to me.

This is a very niche market and I imagine that most of the potential customers for companies such as this are members here, on DFO, Drummerworld and/or Ghostnote. It would seem a very large percentage of his market share may now have a very negative opinion of him.

If you have ever run your own business then you know just how difficult it is to hire good employees, make payroll, pay the monthly bills, keep up with clients, develop customers, deal with the ever changing market and economy and deal with the federal and state government. It is not for the faint of heart and often the amount of time one can actually spend on the things that you love that got you into the business in the first place becomes negligible. It is always sad for me to see anyone struggle in business whether it is their own fault or through circumstances beyond their control. Never the less, Andy has been reticent to make amends or address the issues presented here. I am sad for those that have apparently lost money and sad for a guy that had a fairly high profile business that is now apparently in trouble.

In case there were thoughts along this line, I am not making excuses for anyone.

Longjohn, there is no tracking number. I'm pursuing a claim (or rather, claims) via the bank/credit card and the written assertion from the other side (with no documentation) is that they "have no record of the service not being rendered".

There's a very specific process they follow on these dispute and, at some point, I'm guessing documentation with a tracking number, despatch date or similar needs to be supplied by the vendor. We're not at the point in the process yet (apparently....first time for me).

Same here. Ordered a roll of gloss black wrap back in November.

Won't answer the phone or call back.

Makes me feel like driving down to Nashville and paying a visit.

Still waiting on Feb 20.

What a liar and a thief.
